//
Fulgur Conditum

2008-09

A collaborative project with children and seniors in my father's home village of Cioceni, Romania.
Family stories and local folklore (both factual and enigmatic) conflating the personal and the
archetypal were manifested through ordinary activities that became mysterious happenings.

*Fulgur Conditum: [Here] lightning [has been] buried — is a Latin inscription found on
altars of the Gallo-Roman cult of lightning worship.
